Today we had a small family celebration for Doug's B-day after church. Our sweet Moms joined us for lunch at Lucille's in Ft. Worth. It was marvelous!

Story Behind the Title
When I was a sophomore in college at Baylor University, my grades were less than excellent. One day, my Mom was getting onto me over the phone about the grades. I said...to the woman that was paying for my billion dollar education no less, "BUT MOTHER, I'M NOT IN THIS TO LEARN!!" You see, by this time in my college career, I was actually having FUN! And I was pretty sure that was the whole point of being in college! Mom documented and dated that statement on a post-it note and stuck it on our fridge, where it lived throughout my entire college experience!
I've since learned that life is a lot about LEARNING, whether we want to or not. This blog is the story of our day to day learning curves, which has thankfully included alot of laughing too! Thanks for joining us.
