About 2 months back we started looking at houses knowing that it wouldn't be too long before we wanted to think about buying. We went to a Sunday school party for our 10th graders one Sunday, and after that we were planning to go to an Open House Blast that Ebby Halliday was hositing in our area. As were leaving the party, we looked down the street and there was an open house in progress...so we went! Long strory short, we loved this house the second we saw it, but it wasn't the right price. We looked at many other homes, but just kept waiting and hoping that the house we first saw would become an option. And it did. And so we bought it. And now...

Well, I'll tell you: I'm Holly Steffensrud (that's "S" as in Sam, "T" as in Tom, "E", "F" as in Frank, "F" as in Frank, "E", "N" as in Nancy, "S" as in Sam, "R", "U", "D" as in Dog....and I live on....

Basically I married a man whose name nobody can spell and now I live on a street whose name nobody can spell. Can't wait to see our kids names!!
The street name is pronounced, BO-DARK.

So, here she is...our new home!!!
This house needs a little bit of love, and we've already been busy!! This is our master bedroom, which we are in the process of painting.
The other project we're working on is painting the front door and outside shutters. They used to be this color...
and before the brown...I guess they were pink!! This house was built in 1969!!
And now they're black...
So, that's our exciting news!!! Many more projects to do...so I guess you know what alot of my posts will be about for awhile! We are so very excited and feel so very blessed to have our very own home.
